Umberto Albanese, di Massafra

Un nostro caro Amico, Socio, Benefattore e sostenitore della nostra Associazione, ci ha lasciato per ritornare alla casa di nostro padre Gesù. La Sua, alla nostra associazione era un'amicizia di antica data, e non era nata dalla paura ne tanto meno era suggerita dall'interesse (sono questi gli elementi che nella società di oggi spesso formano le amicizie).

La Sua era forte e vera perché era nata dal Coraggio; questo lo univa a noi: la forza ed il coraggio per aver affrontato con il cipiglio di Ettore Fieramosca, l'incognita di un trapianto di organo, per sconfiggere finalmente una subdola malattia che ha colpito molti di noi.

Lui era un amico che, uscito vincitore dalla battaglia contro una brutta malattia, volle unire il suo coraggio al nostro e dare il suo importante sostegno all'Associazione, sin dalla nascita della stessa per poter così affrontare questioni o problemi che potevano sembrare più grandi di essa.
Lui era convinto, insieme a noi, che le nostre idee, iniziative avrebbero portato l'ATO a compiere in solo tre anni, passi da gigante nel campo del volontariato, e così è stato.
Oggi L'ATO grazie anche al suo aiuto è apprezzata e stimata da tutti e non solo nella regione Puglia ma anche a livello nazionale.

Ogni volta che andavamo a chiedere il suo aiuto, Lui ci fissava con i suoi occhi grossi penetranti e fra noi si stabiliva subito un'intesa fatta di reciproca fiducia. Da parte nostra sapevamo che finalmente potevamo contare su qualcuno , mentre Lui aveva intuito che in noi avrebbe trovato degli amici di sventura pronti a fare qualcosa anche per lui, (impegnatissimo nel suo lavoro) in nome della solidarietà, senza guardare le ideologie politiche, le razze, le bandiere, e i ceti sociali.

Ma la vita di tutti noi, forse questo Umberto non lo pensava (specie in quei momenti in ci si abbandona alle proprie passioni e gioie), gli avvenimenti della nostra vita, il destino insomma, è sempre stato deciso, e lo sarà sempre, da un cosmico rotolare di dadi, dai venti delle stelle, dalle errabonde brezze del caso che soffiano dai mulini a vento degli dei; che il vento della vita ci porta di qua e di là come fa con la foglia morta, che, insomma, cosa possiamo fare contro il volere di Dio se questi ci fa trovare una buccia di banana sulla strada del ritorno dopo aver vinto le Crociate?

ll nostro dolore per la Sua scomparsa , così come succede qualora che uno di noi ci lascia, è grande e senza conforto.
la Sua collaborazione, durata tre anni , lascia un grande vuoto e attraverso questi ricordi vogliamo ricordarlo a tutti coloro che l'anno apprezzato e amato.












Ora la Sua Famiglia, a distanza di qualche mese dalla sua morte, ha deciso di continuare l'opera in favore dell'ATO, e di tante persone che soffrono a causa di una società poco attenta ai propbemi vitali, ospitando la sede regionale della stessa Associazione ATO nei propri siti.
Da parte nostra comè costume e stile dell'ATO sapremo con tanta umiltà e generosità onorare il nostro amico UMBERTO.

A dear Friend of ours, Partner, Benifattore and supporting
of our Association you/he/she has left each other to return
to the house of our father Jesus.

The Your, to our association it was a friendship of ancient gives, and you/he/she had not been born from the fear of it very less it was
suggested by the interest (they are these the elements that in her society of today they often form friendships).

Your strong and true era because you/he/she had been born from the Courage; this united it to us: strength and courage to have faced with the frown of Ettore Fieramosca, the unknown one of a transplantation of organ, to finally defeat a deceitful illness that has struck many of us.

He was a friend that, gone out winning from the battle against an ugly illness she/he wanted to unite his courage to ours and to give support to his main point to the association, since the birth of the same one to be able to face matters or problems that can seem this way greater than it.

He was convinced, together with us, that our ideas, initiatives would have brought the ATO to complete in alone three years, giant footsteps in the field of the volontariato, and so you/he/she has been.

Today The ato thanks also to his help you/he/she is appreciated and esteemed by everybody and not only in the region Puglia but also to national level.

Every time that we went to ask his help, He fixed there with his penetrating big eyes and between it immediately settled an agreement sort of mutual trust. On our behalf we knew that we can finally count on someone, while you/he/she had realized that in you/he/she would have found some friends of ready bad luck to also do something for him, (busy in his job) in name of solidarity, without looking at political ideologies, the races, the flags and the social classes.

But the life of all us, perhaps this Umberto didn't think it (kind in that moments in it abandons to the own passions and joys), the events of our life, in short the destiny has been always decided, and it will be always it, from a cosmic to roll of dice, from the twenty of the stars, from the wandering breezes of the case that blow from the mills to wind of the gods; what does the wind of life bring us of quà and of there like it does with the dead leaf, that, in short, thing we can do against the will of God if these it makes us find a peel of banana on the road of the return after having won the Crusades?

ll our pain for Your disappearance, as it happens if that one of it allows us to us, it is great and without comfort.
Your collaboration, duration three years, leave a big void and through these memoirs we want to remember it to all those people that the appreciated year and beloved.

Your Family, has decided now to continue the work in favor of the ATO to distance of some month from its death, and of so many persons that suffer because of an a little careful society to the vital propbemis entertaining the regional center of the same Association ATO in the own sites.
On our behalf comè custom and style of the ATO we will know with so much humility and generosity to honor our friend UMBERTO.
